Doing My Committee Job

I attended my committee: Land Use, Private Property Rights and Environment. Fascinating discussion. Its focus is on stopping regulation that may hurt REALTORS┬«. Updates were given on issues that staff has been involved in. Of interest to me are the issues members from around the country bring forward. The chairman of the committee, Dan Hatfield, is on the left of the picture. He’s a friend from the hill country of Texas, and he did a good job.

    Hi John,
I am the Community & Political Affairs Director of Southeast Minnesota Association of REALTORS. Question I have for the Land Use, Private Property Rights and Environment committee is on Frac Sand Mining that is happening in Wisconsin and some in Minnesota, will NAR look into property rights and property values issues in the States of Wisconsin and Minnesota? Do a study or provide resources? I have spoken with NAR staff and have spoken at this committee last year in DC about this. Just wanted to ask and share. Thank you, Nate Johnson
